The School 2009 Spring production was “The Snow Queen” by Simon Heath.

The play is based in part on the short story by Hans Anderson.

With a cast of over forty members the play follows the lives of Kai and Gerda who enjoy a happy, simple life with their Grandmother and her stories - until the day that Kai is spirited away by the enigmatic Snow Queen to the Far North.

The audience is then taken on an adventure with Gerda who is determined to use everything within her power to save Kai.
 
Music was arranged by Kit Wood with additional composition by Katherine Miles - Year 11
