Music Department - December 2009

Christmas Term 2009 was full of practice & performance events by pupils at both Morley House and the Senior School

The Morley House Choir have sung at various school and external events including the Morley House Carol Concert and the National Young Voices Concert at the O2 Arena in London

The Autumn Term at the Senior School concluded with an outstandingly successful Advent Carol Concert which was - as usual - so well attended that the Church of St-John-sub-Castro, Lewes was full to standing room only

The Carol Concert was followed by the traditional and excellent House Suppers for both students and parents at the Lewes Town Hall

De Montfort House won the prize for the best dressed Tableau - their Tableau theme being 'The Holly and the Ivy'. Congratulations Nigel Ashford and all the members of De Montfort

Malling House received a special commendation for their food display which included a truly outstanding & authentic Moroccan Tagine cooked in traditional nomad style in heated portable trays, which were also used as serving dishes
