The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a specified programme of activities leading to an award. This programme can be undertaken by anyone aged from 14 to 25 regardless of personal ability.
Many students find that participation in the The Duke of Edinburgh's Scheme to be a richly rewarding experience.
DofE programmes can on average take anywhere between 1 year and 3 to 4 years to complete, depending upon the route taken,
Aaround 275,000 participants are currently taking part in the United Kingdom Award Programme.
Many more students also undertake the D0fE Award scheme throughout the Commonwealth
A group of LOGS Year 10 students have recently embarked on their DofE programme.

For the Voluntary section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award the six LOGS students have undertaken to plan, resource layout and plant a new natural hedgerow at the Priory Herb Garden, Lewes.
This project is in partnership with the Lewes Priory Trust. With the help and guidance of Hilary Black from the Trust the group is aiming for a very successful outcome
The LOGS DofE Group will be sending in a report every 2 weeks with photographs - ie a blog of their work
