At Lewes Old Grammar School, we ensure our CPD is bespoke to our staff base on levels of experience, expertise and years of teaching. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we encourage staff with the support of their managers to identify areas of development and have the freedom to select the training they want.

Training for NQTs
Our NQTs are accredited through IStip. NQTs receive an excellent support programme to ensure success in their first year, which includes mentoring, 1:1 support with the Head of Curriculum and regular sharing of best practice from experienced staff.

Subject Specialism
LOGS prides itself on the expertise of staff in each subject area. Experienced and new teachers who join our faculties will benefit from the wealth of specialism across the curriculum and the excellent resources available to them.
