In the Sixth Form at Lewes Old Grammar School our aim is to equip each student with the necessary skills to move on to Higher Education or into a chosen career.
Sixth form life should be school at its best. We believe there should be fun times but also time devoted to serious study. We encourage students to work independently but there is always guidance on hand – both academic and pastoral – from dedicated and experienced Sixth form tutors.
Students are encouraged to take up opportunities for leadership and responsibility by committing to specific roles within the school, such as Mentors and Prefects as well as volunteering to work in the wider community by assisting in local primary schools.
